Urlacher Holding Out?

Why do football players always do this? The guy got a huge signing bonus, now he is crying that he is under paid. You signed the contract through 2011, now deal with it.

He claims he will hold out, I just don't understand these players at all, if you they want more money they should get it before they sign up long term.

I always say a contract is a contract. If you sign it, stick to it.

They should try to stick the contract as much as possible. But when it get to the end of the line for some players, they are going to be looking for that one last big pay day before they call it quits.

They should probably just give him some more money. They will make it up in Jersey sales!

Here is the story, Bears won't budge, and good for them. They are already offering him a raise. Good work gets a raise. I know I want an extra million a year.

ESPN - Bears say they won't make an exception for Urlacher - NFL
