So who made the biggest improvement for the 2006 draft?

Of course I want to be biased and say my Chargers made the biggest improvement, but that might not be the best answer.

I would have to say the Browns made the biggest improvements with the draft this year. Considering they really had no where to go but up, they really couldn't go wrong with their draft picks.

During the offseason they aquired LeCharles Bentley, Willie McGinest, Joe Jurevicius and Kevin Schaffer via free agency AND during the draft they picked 2 really good linebackers. Furthermore, they have a couple of their key starters returning this season. I can definitely see them as the most improved team for the 2006-2007 season.

I think the team that made the right improvements were the Arizona Cardinals. They got an impact running back to go along with those phenominal receivers, and they picked up a couple of nice talented players in the draft. Not to mention my man Matt Leinart. They didn't have very far to go, but I think they will be turning the corner this season and make a good run at the playoffs.

I don't like the guy but he's got a point. The Cards made some serious improvements in the offseason. Leinart will be brought in by a two time MVP in Warner and they should really be top tier in a year or two. Contrast that with how much time it's going to take the Packers to get back into Championship form or any other of last years stinkers for that matter.

Peace!

I am not sure the Cards will get into the playoffs with Kurt Warner at the helm. I think his days as a prime NFL QB are over. However, he does have more help in the backfield than he did last year. But the EDGE doesn't have to many years either. He should be done in a couple of years and that would give Leinart 1-2 years with EDGE to make something happen.

I am not saying the kid can't make something happen in 1-2 years. But I can see this guy getting distracted. I think anyone would get distracted by Paris Hilton that hot piece of ARSS.
