He reportedly wants a $30 million signing bonus, that is more than first pick Mario Williams got. To quote his agent, "QB's always get paid more than D-Lineman". Nice.

I think he is worth a lot of money, but to ask for $5 million more than the first pick is a little over the top. He should just take the equal/fair deal and make sure he gets his butt into camp.

It's an ego thing. He feels that he himself beat USC, he kinda did IMHO, but I think he should try not to be too greedy. He's unproven in the NFL still and there are legitimate concerns about his potential in the NFL. His style is not commonly successful and the best QBs ALWAYS have to turn into pocket QBs if they want to achieve top-tier success

This really pisses me off when someone, like sheepish said, is UNTESTED. But now that McNair is gone they REALLY need someone who is going to fill that spot.

Tenn is kinda screwed until they get someone in there and fast. Looks like they might have to bite the bullet and pay the man to get him to sign.
